Within a UC Board of Review (UCBR) Referee office, this employee supports the Referee staff in processing UC appeals involving varied and complicated legal issues. These appeals are filed from determinations by UC Service Centers.
This position will provide clerical and administrative support to an Appeals Referee; schedule hearings and process required notices; transcribe, prepare and distribute decisions resulting from hearings; maintain required files of appeal cases; prepare weekly production and backlog report for assigned Appeal Referee; mail processing and distribution service as receptionist; process required paperwork and computer data for cases and office supports; and perform other related clerical duties as required.

In order to be eligible for this position, you must:
- Have successfully examined and have a current score on file. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the Clerk Typist 3 (Exam). The Clerk Typist 3 exam is currently closed. Please continue to check www.employment.pa.gov in order to apply when the exam re-opens.
