Role and Responsibilities
The Data Office Clerk works with the Department Managers to provide clerical support. Data Office Clerk must maintain databases by entering new and updated employee and department reports. Must enter all data in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner into web-based information system, internal documents, and EXCEL spreadsheets. Data Office Clerk will work with management team, along with full time and temporary Receiving employees. Data Office Clerk will report to the Receiving Manager of the designated area. Roles and responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Support Receiving department managers in their daily production reports, to include, but not limited to:
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Enters daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly employee production reports into web-based database.
- Emails all necessary reports (daily, weekly, and/or monthly) as instructed.
- Various administrative duties to support management team in their reporting needs.
- Updates dashboard administrator with any needed information regarding the Receiving Department.
- Maintains front desk appearance. Is the primary point person for suppliers, vendors, and temporary agency personnel.
- Answers and directs telephone calls and inquiries as needed.
Communicates with Department/Functional Manager on any business concerns and/or report issues.
- Processes all documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Verifies that entered information and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; combining data from systems when account information is incomplete; purging files to eliminate duplication of data.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Responsible for completion of projects and tasks as assigned.
Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels.
