Job DescriptionTo provide responsible level clerical support to the department consisting of training and supervising staff so that staff has the capability to perform patient registration, fee scaling, obtaining managed care/health insurance authorizations and the receipt and processing of health insurance copayments consistent with the standards of a medical and/or surgical practice. Meet, greet and direct patients to designated appointment area. Answer telephones, direct calls, assist customers, and/or take messages. Make arrangements for Ambulette/transportation as directed. Update patient's profile scheduling, including but not limited to, PCP assignment, etc.
Minimum Qualifications1. A four-year High School Diploma or its educational equivalent and one year of
satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement:
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per
minute.
Tour 2: 9am-5pm
