Janitorial Supervisor

The Janitorial Supervisor works with supervisors, service associates, and key customers to ensure continued satisfaction of services. He or she sets and maintains cleanliness standards. The Janitor Supervisor leads a team of professionals and ensures tasks are completed, and instructions are understood.

• Support the team, and report to the Facility Manager; additional support to Center of Excellence

• Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required

What you’ll be doing

• Develops and manage employee population
• Trains and manages employees and vendors to ensure all client rules, guidelines, regulations and expectations are adhered to
• Develops and maintains strategic customer relationships
• Serves as liaison between clients and company departments/divisions
• Conducts service review meetings with clients concerning ISS performance, vendor performance and process improvements
• Surveys buildings for staffing purposes and cost evaluations
• Maintains labor and account budgets
• Examines work completion in accordance to contract deliverables
• Monitors quality control throughout assigned facilities

Who you are

Skills and Experience

• 3+ years customer service experience
• Knowledge of custodial/commercial cleaning

• Experience in Janitorial Industry preferred
• Experience managing service level employees

• Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organization
• High School diploma or GED required
• PC literate – understanding of how to use the technology as a tool
• Ability to communicate with all levels within a client’s management structure

• Good team player and Manager
• Able to command credibility and be able to influence
