Somerset Pacific is seeking a part-time energetic, experienced, multi-family property Cleaner for our Creekside at Alyeska apartment complex located in Girdwood, Alaska. The Cleaner is responsible for performing a full range of cleaning tasks to restore an apartment to a basic level of cleanliness. This dependable individual must have the ability to work independently, as well as communicate effectively with management, be efficient, prioritize and complete tasks assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Obtains list of vacant units that need to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective checkouts in order to prepare work assignments.
- Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy.
- Responsible for the daily upkeep of the clubhouse and common areas of property building (if duty is assigned)
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
- Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
- Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
- Responsible for courteous, efficient response at all times.
- Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Responsible for thorough knowledge of management company policies and property community policies.
- Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
- Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
Tasks
Service, clean, or supply restrooms in common areas
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work to be done on on-site at property
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This is a part-time position, 20 hours a week, Monday – Friday
This position is contingent on completion of successful background, criminal, and drug screening.
