Class C Driver (CDL)

MSI is looking for a skilled professional to fill our Class A or B driverpositions in our Charlotte, North Carolina location.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to do the following:

· Responsible for locally delivering granite, marble and quartz slabs with multiple stops.

· In charge of maintaining a legal and accurate log book.

· Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures and safe driving protocol at all times.

· Responsible for reading the Bill of Lading and picking sheets.

· In charge of positioning the blocks and ties, straps, chains and binders for cargo securement.

· Perform additional and warehouse duties as required and or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and Experience requirements:

· Must be able to pass a skilled test (driving test) and all DOT pre-employment requirements.

· Two years of verifiable driving experience with heavy duty vehicles.

· Must possess a Valid Class B CDL.

· Bilingual a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High School Education preferred and 1 plus years’ of verifiable driving experience.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:

· Ability to work alone and concentrate

· Patience and a polite attitude towards other road users

· Good spoken and written communication skills

· Knowledge of using iPads
