Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil CADD Designer to join our growing Mid-Atlantic engineering team. The ideal candidates will participate in and contribute to a diverse range of engineering projects and services in our team-oriented environment. Under the direction of experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to Solar, Oil & Gas, Land Development, and other engineering projects.
Job Responsibilities:Under supervision and working with experienced staff, the successful candidates will complete civil engineering designs and the generation of construction plans and exhibits in the following areas:

Job Responsibilities:Under supervision and working with experienced staff, the successful candidates will complete civil engineering designs and the generation of construction plans and exhibits in the following areas:
- Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups
- Strong desire to learn and an interest in civil engineering design
- Variety of Civil 3D Plans, maps, and bills of materials
- Work in conjunction with civil engineers and project leaders to develop engineering designs
- Follow project schedules and allotted hours by Project manager
- Follow internal and/or client procedures and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and good communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player, take direction, and interact well with others
- Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges.
- Preparing meeting minutes and communicating schedule updates to Project Controls.
- Self-starter who can work independently and with team members
Position Requirements:
- Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering, Technology or Construction related fields from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent. B.S strongly preferred.
- 0-5 years of experience with B.S. 2+ years required with Associates Degree
- Basic knowledge and experience using AutoCAD is required. Proficiency with Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
