The US ACH Cash Management market is undergoing one of the most exciting and challenging times in recent history - clients are continually demanding ever faster, easier, and more efficient ways to make electronic payments. The ACH Product team is seeking a candidate to fill a VP Product Manager role. This Product Manager will be required to have the drive to be a strategic innovator, manager of existing products and services, facilitator of budget and forecasting reviews, and be a leader in client issue resolution. As the scope of ACH is ever expanding, the candidate will be required to be an active liaison collaborating with the ACH Product team, Sales, Service, Technology, Operations and other key partners in supporting and strengthening the JPM ACH position in the Industry.
Responsibilities
- Key contributor to the development, implementation, and coordination of ACH Product innovation.
- Partner with the ACH Product team and assist in driving the ACH innovation agenda
- Transforming our business by delivering greater value to our clients while differentiating JPM from our competitors
- Drive and promote the Product direction and strategic roadmap for US ACH
- Evaluate market and competitors to understand new trends/product/user cases and partner with internal product and LOBs to develop & launch those use cases (& associated services) as well as business case
- Engage internal and external partners/clients in order to fully understand the industry needs
- Revenue and volume forecasting directly tied to monthly/annual growth planning
- Liaison with stakeholders across the organization to ensure active engagement in their initiatives that are impacting payments
- Frequent interaction with Sales, Service, Operations, Tech, legal and Compliance teams to keep abreast of all impacting priorities
- Develop detailed project execution plans and tracking against milestones; problem solve issues that arise during the project execution phase
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure implementations/initiatives are on track
- Proactively educate themselves on the broader Treasury Services initiatives and market developments in order to be a leader in formulating partner opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Required
- Minimum 3+ years of experience on strategy/consulting teams and/or minimum 3+ years in banking with proven understanding of the payments business
- ACH Product knowledge and AAP Certification are strongly preferred
- Proven understanding of current payments opportunities and how to effectively set the payments strategy, prioritize strategic initiatives and shape partnerships with technology innovators and industry groups
- Proven understanding in innovation (AI, Blockchain, APIs etc.) and the ability to think strategically about how to advance business-led solutions
- Exceptional written and oral communications skills required, including the ability to synthesize "the story" for executive-level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and strategic modeling/analyses and develop business cases (e.g., new market and product initiatives, pricing, operating model changes)
- Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, working effectively in a matrix organization
- Demonstrated sense of prioritization and execution against critical deliverables, coupled with a sense of personal ownership for key projects / issue resolution
- Self-motivated, willingness to attain challenging goals, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment working independently
