Job Description
The Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Digital Channels Solutions Specialist team for North America supports Large Corporate and Financial Institutions Treasury Services Sales achieve their revenue goals by providing technical and consultative support for Wholesale Payments Access solutions across our market-leading digital channels and open banking portfolio of client integration experiences.

The Digital Channels Technical Solutions Specialist serves as a subject matter expert supporting client engagements and interactions across different industry verticals in the North America region across a number of channel integration oriented functions and disciplines. These include: client advisory and education; end-to-end client integration requirements elicitation; technical solutioning; RFP and RFI responses; client presentations; product demonstrations; pricing and sales training.

The Digital Channels Technical Solutions Specialist serves as a subject matter expert supporting key client engagement interactions across different industry verticals in the North America region. As part of the deal lifecycle, the specialist will support technical functions and related activities for integrating global and regional core cash service solutions, including: client advisory and education; end-to-end client integration requirements elicitation; technical solutioning; RFP and RFI responses; client presentations; product demonstrations; pricing and sales training.

With specific emphasis on digital connectivity and innovative technical integration solutions for client Treasury and Finance landscapes, coupled with a deep understanding of our Wholesale Payments product solutions, the role is responsible for supporting regional Sales and WP product PSS teams with client engagement activities through the entire sales and deal lifecycle.

The Technical Specialist's understanding of client challenges, product gaps, observed industry trends, market pricing and other competitive intelligence will provide essential input for deal strategy and help inform the strategic product development roadmap for Digital Channels. The role will also partner with and provide deep subject matter expertise to other internal cross-functional product partners' initiatives.

In addition to technical advisory around industry best practices, the role will also help define strategic client end state and process re-engineering recommendations, contribute to business case analyses for clients, and articulate end-to-end operational efficiencies and benefits of digital connectivity integration capabilities and services in the delivery of our broader global core cash solution portfolio.

Roles and responsibilities specifically include :

  • Function as subject matter expert across digital channels, open banking and emerging technologies integration solutions; including API, host-host, web, SWIFT and mobile platforms
  • Work directly with Treasury Sales and clients to understand holistic business problems and requirements and deliver efficient and effective multi-channel technical integration recommendations and solutions
  • Attend and contribute subject matter expertise and thought leadership to client roundtables and strategy white-boarding and workshops as required
  • Support Sales in responding to complex RFPs and non-standard information requests
  • Support Sales in delivering product demos and best and final solution presentations (over web, phone or in-person)
  • Provide training and support to Sales and business partners on new product/channel capabilities
  • Provide market feedback to Product Managers including new functionality needs and competitive landscape information
  • Partner with product leads across product development lifecycle serving as the voice-of-the-client; assist with concept design, feature development, and preparation for product launch to clients as necessary.
  • Engage with internal product partners to understand the impacts of changes associated with the Digital Channel Products, including new processes, tools, communications and training.
  • Contribute input into marketing strategy and communications plans
  • Seek opportunities to provide bank representation and influence within key industry standards bodies and workgroups
  • Represent organization at internal and external client conferences and trade shows as required

Qualifications
  • Highly motivated individual with strong business & technical background and excellent problem solving & communication skills.
  • 5+ years of experience of Treasury, Cash Management or technical Product management oriented roles with specific emphasis on Treasury and Finance (AP and AR) related landscapes
  • Strong payments industry knowledge, specifically of w holesale payments products (Payments, Receivables, Liquidity, Foreign Exchange, Merchant Services) and solid experience of related digital channels, open banking and emerging technologies product sets, including; API, host-host, SWIFT, internet and mobile
  • Expertise and experience in latest technical standards across payments and cash management domains (e.g. JSON, ISO 20022, SWIFT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Finance (ERP), Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and other Fintech platforms in the corporate banking space a significant advantage; working knowledge of both legacy and on-premise and latest cloud variants of SAP and Oracle ERP platforms (finance and treasury applications context) preferred
  • Strong executive management presentation skills and e xperience leading technology demonstrations, including ability to pitch at the CFO level
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and articulate customer needs and turn requirements into actionable solutions
  • Driver of strong working relationships with clients, colleagues and cross-functional partners
  • Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills

Digital Channels is the face of the Wholesale Payments business at J.P. Morgan and as clients look to consume our services, it is the job of the Digital Channels Technical Solutions Specialist team to solve holistic integration needs and challenges, making clients aware of best practice technical options and providing appropriate recommendations. In addition to serving as the voice of the client, the team serves as a liaison between Product Management and Sales, keeping Sales up-to-date on Access products and market developments while providing regular feedback to Product for new client requirements and competitive information. As an advocate for digital channels solutions, the team is passionate about making it easier for our Sales partners to effectively position multi-channel experiences across the broader wholesale payments franchise and to successfully realise revenue opportunities as they arise.

Location: This position supports our North America Region. Preferred locations: Chicago , New Jersey and Tampa.
