Childcare Staff Caregiver/Teacher

Las Colinas Children's Academy is a preschool looking for teachers to teach children of all ages between 6 weeks old to 5 years old. If you enjoy working with children and feel that you could bring new ideas to the classroom, this may be a great opportunity. We are looking to hire confident, friendly, helpful caregivers and teachers! Also, knowledge of front office duties and knowing the minimum standards is greatly preferred. A responsible and highly professional person is what we are looking for—other basic needs listed below.*Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.*Ability to relate positively with young children.*Previous teaching or assistant teaching position with a public or private school system, a quality preschool, child care center, or church nursery is preferred.*Certification or degree related to early childhood or preschool or elementary education is desirable, but not mandatory.*Knowledge as a parent or in the previous work experience of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.*Must be able to lift to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.*Must be able to arrive and give your time to receive hourly compensation. Desired Qualifications:

• 1+ to 2 years of experience
• Age Groups: Infant, Preschool, Toddler, Grade School
• High school degree
• First Aid Training, CPR, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development Associate (CDA), Early Child Development Coursework

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
