Caregivers & Support
Caregivers will maintain safe, healthy environment for children always. Actively engage in daily activities and routines with children. Assist in observation, recording and assessing each child’s individual growth and development. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with all Michigan Department of Human Services and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) rules and regulations.
All staff members Responsibilities & duties include, but are not limited to:
- Having a happy demeanor and a fair attitude.
- Practicing positive discipline
- Acting as a behavior model
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Collaborate with other colleagues
- Observation and note taking
- Providing emotional and physical support for the child
- Guiding the children through the curriculum and schedule
- 24 Hours of annual professional development
- Assist in serving lunch and snack,
- Assist in potty training and hand washing,
- Changing diapers,
- Keep logs of the children's activities,
- Guide the kids in their actions toward others,
- Lead in outdoor and indoor activities,
- Sit down and teach them through play,
- Be a source of positive reinforcement in their lives.
- Provide an environment that ensures the health and safety of the kids
- Thorough cleaning and sanitation

Shift Start & End Times
Our schedules are based on the care needed from our families. Your shift start and end times will be subject to change according to those needs. Examples of this include, but are not limited to, days when your shift may be cancelled, and days when you will be required to stay later.
Job Promotion
As an employee increases their education and then meets the qualifications for a higher position, we will hold an evaluation to determine that experience is also at the correct level. When education and experience requirements for a new position are met the employee will receive a pay increase equal to their yearly raise. Should an open position come available they will be given priority in the application process.
