Child Care Floater-Immediate Opening

Do you like working with a variety of ages of children? Do you consider yourself able to step in and be an extra set of hands and eyes in multiple classrooms in a day? We are looking to add additional staff to our team for Fall semester to fill in when a staff member is out or needs a break or to provide a little extra help. We are open Monday-Friday 6:30am-6:30pm. Full time and part time hours available. Candidates should have experience working with all children ages 6 weeks-5 years and be friendly, caring and reliable.We would prefer individuals who have a minimum of one year experience working in a licensed child care center but not necessary.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain a physical and pass a BCI/FBI background check.
• Reliable, hardworking, team player.
• Have a passion for working with children.
• Experience in an early childhood classroom is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the classroom when the lead teacher is out of the room
• Help with general housekeeping tasks
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities
