Job Description

CHIEF OF STAFF

POSITION DEFINITION: This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for the direct assistance to the President & CEO of The Prevention Network & CLASS Academy.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Guide the day-to-day operations of the company administrative staff

- Oversee and manage the administrative staff of The Prevention Network & CLASS Academy

- Serve as the right hand support for the President & CEO

- Conduct meetings as needed with Director level staff and employees of The Prevention Network & CLASS Academy.

- Ensure timely communications by the Office of the President & CEO.

- Ensure the President & CEO is prepared for all meetings.

- Handle all aspects of customer service training and management for all employees.

- Oversee, in conjunction with other Director level personal, all professional relations and hospitality services for The Prevention Network & CLASS Academy.

- Organize and manage all file management for the Office of the President & CEO.

- Engage with other Director level staff to find and obtain marketing & promotional opportunities for The Prevention Network & CLASS Academy through the Office of the President & CEO on a local and national level.

- Aide in the management, planning and design of all agency fundraisers, grants and special projects.

- Serve as the spokesperson for The Prevention Network & CLASS Academy in the event of the absence of The President & CEO and/or when assigned.

- To oversee and manage all President & CEO communications external and internal to the company as needed and requested.

- Handle travel planning as requested by the President & CEO.

- Work with the agency grants team to identify new areas of funding while managing project timelines as needed.

- Act as a strategic advisor to the President & CEO.

- Draft letters, emails and other correspondence on behalf of the President & CEO.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

2. Current Act 33, 151 and 34 clearances (can be obtained upon hire)

3. Stellar Written and verbal communication skills

4. Time management

7. Problem-solving

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $51,000.00 per year
