The Oregon Clinic is a multispecialty independent medical group with approximately 220 physicians and 80 APPs serving the greater Portland metropolitan area in a five-county region. Specialties include allergy, audiology, bariatric treatment, burn treatment and surgery, cardiology, colon and rectal surgery, critical care medicine, dermatology, ENT, foot and ankle, gastroenterology, general surgery, head and neck surgery, hepatology, neurosurgery and spine, OB/GYN, oncology – radiation and surgical, orthopedics, plastic surgery, pulmonary, sleep medicine, urogynecology, urology and vein treatment. The providers practice in approximately 60 sites, as well as endoscopy centers.
Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer reports directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the directing the fiscal functions of the organization including general accounting, AP, payroll, payer contracting, financial reporting, divisional buy-in/out practices, administering physician compensation arrangements and insurance renewals (malpractice, general liability, property, etc.), with future plans for the oversight of revenue cycle and supply chain. This executive will provide financial information to assist the clinic in making educated economic decisions.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a demonstrated track record of at least five (5) years of financial leadership experience within a medical group, a collaborative and transparent leadership style, and the ability to work collaboratively with the clinics and directors to meet organizational goals. Ensures efficient and effective centralized services that focus on support of the physicians and clinics. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and CPA certification required; independent, multispecialty, multi-site physician group/practice is highly preferred.
