Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the CFO will report directly to the President and indirectly to the Group VP CFO.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all or most related to:
Financial Statement preparation and presentation- Budgeting and long-range Business Plan Modeling
- Working Capital and business operational interface to manage cash and cost optimization
- Manufacturing environment experience driving continuous improvement
- Implementing financial reporting systems
Role Responsibilities:
Building short and long-range financial forecasting, budget planning, and introduction of new programs and strategies to drive growth and profitability.- Lead small finance / accounting team. Strong leadership to grow and build talent.
- Providing leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensuring credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- Experience in manufacturing environment with strong understanding of cost accounting and product costing. Operations oriented mindset with ability to partner with the Operations team to drive cost improvements and productivity.
- Effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and Filtration Group leadership. This individual must be an enthusiastic communicator of the company's vision, and be able to lead, question and solve business issues and challenges. Strong desire to effectively lead organizational improvements to allow for continued growth while properly managing to minimize costs and / or eliminating risk.
- Accountability for all aspects of accounting operations including the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring the integrity of the company's financial data.
- Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Qualifications:
- Possess strong financial reporting and planning, annual budget modeling and long-range modeling skills and business acumen
- Strong project and cost management experience
- Experience working in manufacturing environment
- Experience working in eCommerce business with multiple channels preferred
- Experience leading implementation of financial reporting system, QAD preferred
- A minimum undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or finance. CPA, CMA, MBA preferred.
