Job Description
Opportunity Overview: Chemical Operator I - $17/hr starting - up to $28/hr within ~16 months! Contract to hire after 3 - 6 months Depending on your personal drive, advance through trainings/testing to Chemical Operators level II - V. Each including a ~$3/hr raise! Most can reach level II or III in under 6 months. This Facility operates on a rotating schedule. Your weeks will alternate between 38 and 48 hours as well as from day to night shift every 2 weeks. There is built in overtime at 1.5x every other week.

What your day-to-day looks like:
- Comply with all safety regulations and report any unsafe condition to supervision
- Comply with all environmental regulations and report any environmental issues (i.e. spills or releases) to supervision
- Properly charge all materials to each process per procedures including amounts and rates
- Properly maintain all batch parameters per written procedures
- Properly maintain all process documentation and log sheets
- Report any maintenance requirement to supervision
- Report any process problem to supervision
- Keep work areas neat, clean and free of debris
- In some areas, properly monitors and maintain the operation of the RTO
- Conduct a proper turn over with the off-going and oncoming shift
- Complete operator training classes as provided.
- Apply knowledge of plant operations to assist production supervisor
- Apply knowledge of plant trouble shooting of all plant equipment to assist production supervisor
What we need to see from you:
- Must be reliable and have valid drivers license
- Must be willing to take drug/background screens
- Completed High school education or GED
- Walking, climbing stairs and standing for extend periods of time, stooping/bending, pushing / pulling, lifting, visual requirements, wearing proper personal protective equipment
