Checker Opr PR03

This position is responsible for operating a fork lift to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the shipping and receiving process, verifying, counting, and stacking. This position also requires basic computer knowledge, simple math, continuous work in subzero temperatures, while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

SUMMARY:

This position requires the scanning, wrapping, and breaking down pallets of boxes in stage to be put away in the warehouse rack system. The use of a sit-down forklift and hi-lift forklift are required to perform job function(s). Requirements: Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry 90 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling and reaching are involved in a 12-hour shift. Must be willing to work in a freezer/ cooler environment. Must be able to tolerate working in freezer (-5 degrees F.) up to 12 hours per day doing continuous physical labor in a cold, humid environment. Other duties assignment by management.

Requirements:

(External) Must have 6 months continuous work history with one employer within the last 12 months from the date of applications.

Rehires will not be considered.

D Shift

Wednesday 12:00 A.M. to 6:15 A.M.

Thursday thru Saturday 6:00 P.M. to 6: A.M
