Job Description

Generark is a small business selling portable solar generators, providing up to 7 days of emergency power!

We are looking to hire an experienced business developer who has a solid track record selling to big box retails, small independent retailers, e-commerce and through dropship programs.

About the role!

  • Creates and maintains a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service
  • Creates, defines and executes the go-to market and marketing strategy across platforms including, eCommerce, reseller, email, partnerships teams and external agencies to plan.
  • Develops marketing strategy by studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; and monitoring the competition.
  • Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years’ experience in a new business development role at least 2 focused on D2C and B2C
  • Experience working in a start-up or small company is a plus.
