What This Position is All AboutUnder the direction of the AGMO, the Brand Manager supports the client experience, builds brand client loyalty and is operationally responsible for managing the Chanel inventory/receipts, merchandising and maintaining presentation standards. The Brand Manager represents their brand within the store to internal and external customers, supporting the customer experience expectations of Saks. The Brand Manager strives to build a loyal, repeat client base around the brand by assisting the Style Advisors with their customer and inventory-related needs. The Brand Manager shares customer feedback regularly with the Chanel and Saks Concession teams that is specific to the needs of the customer in their market.

Essential Job Function
DRIVE BRAND IMAGE AND PRODUCT ACCESSIBILITY
- Consistently displays an engaging floor presence representative the Brand adhering to dress code and role modeling service
- Supports Style Advisors with their customer product needs and resolution of customer service issues
- Has knowledge of the receiving process and inventory management
- Demonstrates initiative and a sense of urgency in "selling floor readiness"
- Follows all Chanel visual and merchandising directives and standards
- Merchandises the selling floor and maintains merchandising standards
- Executes all aspects of promotional and sale set-up including presentation, lettering, and signage on the sales floor
- Replenishes merchandise on the selling floor and in wall units
- Assists the Style Advisors with all trunk shows and special event set-ups and preparation
- Educates associates on brand visual and merchandise standards
- Provides information and education to the store population for each new delivery
- Spends floor time educating Style Advisors on the new and future deliveries by sharing special selling points
- Upholds all Company values, policies, and procedures
- Carries out other store initiatives as assigned by management
- Facilitates clinics for Style Advisorrs and Fifth Avenue Club at a minimum on a seasonal basis
DRIVE MERCHANDISE COMMUNICATION
- Develops productive relationships with the top performing Style Advisors in the store, (MDB, JTM) and communicates with them regularly
- Maximizes special event and trunk show opportunities for the brand
- Identifies business opportunities around product and communicates to Chanel and the Concession Team
- Is the expert on all product categories for their brand
SUPPORT BRAND CLIENT DEVELOPMENT
- Assist Style Advisors in developing lasting client relationships for the brand
- Models all Saks Fifth Avenue Service Principles to both the internal and external customer. Focuses all efforts on providing an exceptional experience to drive loyalty
- Retail experience required
- Must be able to learn and retain visual and merchandising standards
- Able to move and maneuver merchandising fixtures and equipment
- Able to use available technology (RF guns, package tracking etc.)
- Possesses strong business acumen and executive presence
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative and be a self-starter, solution seeker. Ability to maintain own work flow and meet deadlines.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and organize work well
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate
- Ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
- Displays a capacity to learn quickly and respond well to changes and opportunities
