Job Description

**1,000 Sign-on bonus**

City Pets Vet in Portland, OR, is seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician to become the next long-term member of our incredible team.

Your Qualifications:

  • Compassionate, motivated team players who are committed to excellent client service and exceptional patient care.
  • Must hold a current license and be proficient in the following areas: venipuncture, blood draws and IV catheter placement, surgical assistance, drug calculations, pharmacy duties, lab work, digital radiography, client communication and education, handling of medical records, and more.
  • Experience with dentistry and anesthesia is a plus!
  • A background in Fear Free techniques is a plus!

While we are looking for Certified Veterinary Technicians, we would also consider candidates that are not yet certified but will be ready to take their VTNE soon – responsibilities will be modified until certification is obtained
