SUMMARY OF CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT POSITION

Pine Hills Retirement Community is looking for a caring, compassionate and kind CNA. We strive to provide care to our residents that exceeds industry standards and we are looking for a CNA that wants to join that mission!

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for serving and caring for the elderly population, the desire to build a genuine rapport with those that they’re charged to care for and the ability to provide individualized, resident-centered basic nursing care.

As a CNA, you may participate in our Career Step program and receive education assistance to advance your career toward positions with more responsibility, skill, and compensation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists residents with activities of daily living.
  • Maintains resident stability by checking vital signs and weight.
  • Provides residents with quality personal hygiene.
  • Provides resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials.
  • Answers residents’ call lights and requests and transports residents.
  • Reports observations of the resident to nursing supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid and active state-issued CNA certification
  • Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, federal and state regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated dependability and punctuality
