ComForCare Home Care is Hiring Caregivers for Immediate Placement!

Whether you are looking to get started in a home care career or are an experienced aide, we have something for you. Schedules are flexible and tailored to fit your needs. We have full-time, part-time, live-in, mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Shifts are available throughout the Central DuPage area; Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Itasca, Bloomingdale, Villa Park, Glendale Heights, Carol Stream, and etc. We offer flexible schedules and your preferred locations will be considered when setting up your schedule. **Please note: Caregivers should live within a 30 minute drive of the Central DuPage County area.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Personal Care
    • Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, nail /skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair, walker, crutches, cane), change of position, with toileting, commode, incontinent care, meal planning, preparation, and assistance with feed
    • Prefer experience with ambulation and transfers
  • Companion/Sitter/Household Management
    • Provide companionship and respite services for family
    • Perform homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
  • Medication Services
    • Provide medication reminders that the client self-administers

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D certificate
  • At least six months experience as a Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide (personal experience with a family member is acceptable)
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
