Job Description

To meet ongoing clinical operational reporting demand, Tenet utilizes Power Insight Explorer(PIE) built by Cerner. Tenet is looking for a Cerner PIE Lead Developer role to fill with an experienced lead developer on our team.

As a lead developer you will develop, create and support the new/existing report development for all clinical reporting projects. Expertise required includes new dvelopement, enhancements, conduct impact analyses, Unit testing, User acceptance Testing and deployment of changes to production. You will coach change other developers and make recommendations to senior leadership based on experience and research for best practices, You will also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of developers within the team.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, healthcare or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience creating custom reports on the Cerner platform, utilizing the real-time reporting tool PowerInsight Explorer, which is built on top of the SAP Business Object.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business Object BI Platform 4.2.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare clinical reporting and knowledge of Healthcare operations, processes, and policy, as well as healthcare terminology.
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Work with end-users to schedule new reports and resolved issues related to scheduled report failures using the SAP web-based tool Central Management Console (CMC).
  • Ability to work with users to research, collect, analyze reports requirements and deliver complete and accurate reports by an established timeline.
  • Experience developing in SQL on an Oracle platform is a plus
  • Experience in working with admin activities is a plus
