Center Assistant Manager

Kumon Of Plano Northeast in Plano, TX is looking for one Center Assistant Manager to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on relative information including engaging in ongoing training
• Help the Director with co-coordinating and implementing student learning plans
• Provide a positive and nurturing learning environment
• Review performance and identify areas of opportunity to maximize effectiveness
• Lead children with class work.
• Grade homework assignments.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the center including managing the instructors, scheduling sessions, and interactions with parents.
• Start and manage zoom calls.
• Monitor other assistants on zoom calls
• Shadow instructor on center communication needs
• Help maintain the center.

Requirements:

Experience in managing operations of a center preferably education related.

Montessori experienced or certified teachers are welcome to apply.

Excellent communication skills with adults and children.

Teachers looking for a summer job / retired ISD teachers are welcome to apply.

• General Responsibilities: Provide appropriate academic coaching to students according to the Center policy. Motivate and encourage students (incentives, certificates, etc.). Discuss the students’ progress with parents. Personnel (instructor, center assistant) management, inventory management.

Qualifications

• College graduate or equivalent
• Some experience working with children.
• Ability to remain patient and positive and motivate students
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Hours Per Week

10-12

Pay Rate

$10-$15 depending on experience
