CDL Driver Solo Paid Weekly

Position Description:

We have an opening for a Class A CDL Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder in Glen Burnie MD.

• Average $1550 weekly
• Driver Positions Pay Weekly
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.54 per Mile with 1402 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops Pay: $19.89 per Stop with 36 Stops per Week
• Per Diem Pay: $35 per night with 1 - 2 nights per Week
• Sign On Bonus: $4000, pays 1/2 at 30 days and 1/2 at 90 days
• Referral Program Amount: $1500
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Paid Training
• Paid Time Off Starts DAY ONE - 80 hours accrued in 1st year
• Comprehensive Health Benefits start at 30 Days

Trucks are three years or newer. Ryder Drivers Service the Route, not the Truck. All Drivers have 24/7 Roadside Maintenance by a Ryder Trained Technician plus Service Employees fuel up our trucks at all 800+ Maintenance Facilities.

• Deliver SOLO To: MD, VA, PA, DE and WV
• Tractor Type: Day Cabs
• Trailer Type: Dry Van
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful
• Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate and Hand Truck
• Freight: Touch - Flooring Materials

Requirements:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts. Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
