CATIA Designer

CAD Designer

Duties:

• Design and develop engineering systems quickly
• Accurately and in a manner appropriate to ease manufacturing and assembly
• Generate 3D models and 2D drawings of engineering systems , jigs and fixtures to a standard required for internal / external manufacture
• Assist in coordination of design and manufacturing programs and testing/verification of designs Generate innovative and practical ideas / designs for continuous improvement of functionality and quality of production Import and create 3D CAD files into CAD database for component traceability

Requirements

• Basic engineering knowledge of mechanical designs and their applications in the real-world environment
• A flexible attitude to work and a 'team player' attitude
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience in Catia V6 / 3DX on mechanical design (V5 experience considered).
• Some surfacing experience would be advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
