Job Description
Key Interfaces (Relationships with other dept/groups):
Creation, Sales, Brand Activation, Retail Marketing/Activation, Global CTC, Operations, local CTC
Purpose:
Executes business strategy to achieve net sales, net margin, inventory and SKU productivity for assigned category. Support long-term goals and strategy for assigned category to ensure global brand vision and corporate objects are met for the US market.
Key Accountabilities:
Assists in establishing and overseeing the range or not range strategy criteria
Identifies the products that maximize profitability/productivity and present those to Management in a clear and concise format
Collaborates with finance team and global CTC to ensure handovers are tracking against set financial goals.
Creates seasonal forecasts, updates monthly.
Owns and operates reoccurring cross-functional meetings with Fashion Influencer Channel and non-FI account meetings
Tracks product launch dates exit dates to ensure respective guidelines are followed
Track and manage end-to-end business models / supply chain solutions to obtain greater profit and cash flow, by channel, by key accounts.
Works with Order Fulfillment / Purchasing to ensure purchases and allocation were handed over, purchased as planned and product is delivered and launched on time
Manages overview of excess inventory reports and presents solutions to Manager following the respective excess strategies.
Builds internal and external network to maintain trend and product awareness - specifically Fashion Influencer Channel
Builds and presents range and GTM strategies to internal audience, including senior leadership
Constantly thinks of new and innovate ways to evolve GTM strategies
Builds assortment plans and allocations by channel
Manages monthly handover of products to internal seeding partners
May update relevant systems and execute relevant reporting
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Can effectively work in a fast changing and at times ambiguous environment
Positive, resilient and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional team
Strong business acumen in channel distribution, net sales, margin, profit and inventory
Strong presentation and communication skills, written and verbal
Ability to merchandise across channels and accounts
Ability to work within a team environment
Strong process and organization skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and working with systems/applications
Category specific understanding preferred
Prior knowledge of pinnacle lifestyle wholesale or retail preferred
Ability to travel domestic and international up to 25%
Qualifications:
Four-year college, university degree, or equivalent experience
Minimum three (3) years industry related experience
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.
Previous merchandising experience in the sporting goods industry preferred
