- Spend part of your day traveling to loss sites across the country that have been damaged by weather
- Conduct a detailed inspection of the property and write an estimate to capture the extent of the
- When you are not in the field, use advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors to
- Review the policy and decide how coverage applies and provide the customer with a detailed
- Communicate empathetically with customers and help them through their claim process in a fast, fair
- Negotiate claim settlements with customers in accordance with business unit standard methodologies

As a condition of employment, you are required to obtain an adjuster’s license in all states within the
first 60 days of employment. Since this is primarily a field role, you will also need a valid driver’s license.
This is a demanding field position that will require you to travel across the country as much as 75% of
your working time. You will be working 10 days on with 4 days off, as a result, you must be willing to
work weekends, holidays, and regularly work 12-hour days. In addition, you must be able to carry and
set up a 50lb. ladder and handle claims, collaborate with vendors, and communicate with customers in a
live, professional virtual setting from your home. Depending on the claims, you may work up to 75% of
your working time from your home handling virtual claims as well.
If offered the role, you may travel to one of our regional training centers for training in our state-of-theart facility within your first two months at Allstate. You will receive ongoing support, mentoring and
coaching as you develop your career. You’re a great match for this role if you:
- You live within 4 hours driving distance to the Memphis, TN area
- Have prior experience using estimating software like Xactimate
- Value providing an effortless customer service experience
- Are organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Are known for clear and professional communication – both written and verbal
- Have a Bachelor’s degree and prior customer service experience
- Being bilingual and/or having prior military experience is a plus
