Posting Description:Aon is seeking a National Casualty Broker
U.S. Commercial Risk Solutions represents the retail brokerage and risk management arm of Aon. Through more than 50 offices in major commercial centers in the U.S., our professionals design, place, and implement customized insurance and risk mitigation solutions for clients. Commercial Risk Solutions works with all of Aon's business units to bring the right set of expertise and solutions that meet each client's unique risk management needs.
This position will be located in our Chicago office.
Your impact as a Broker
Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Perform the services of an Insurance Broker for Casualty lines of Coverage: General Liability, Worker’s Compensation, and Commercial Automobile.
  • Placement of new and renewal loss sensitive insurance programs.
  • Collateral reviews, collateral negotiation, loss pick analysis, work closely with Aon Actuarial team and Aon Global Risk Consultants (AGRC)
  • Analyze and review insurance programs for clients to determine optimum TCOR (Total Cost of Risk) and program creation & development including pricing, terms & conditions.
  • Work closely with the Casualty Brokerage Leader, Account Executive Practice Leader and Resident Sales Director in new business production.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the carriers and underwriters.
  • Mentor and help develop associate brokers on the team.
  • Work as a team member and collaborate with other colleagues within the Aon team.
You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired Experience:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years commercial brokerage customer service and brokerage support experience or underwriting experience
  • Property Casualty Agent-Broker License
  • Computer knowledge: Adept with Microsoft office suite: Excel, Word

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.
