GENERAL DUTIES:
· Meet and greet all customers in respectful, friendly and affable manner by name, maintaining friendly atmosphere; handle all minor inquires and problems/complaints from customers.
· Assure that guests have an enjoyable round of golf, that all groups do their best to keep pace with others, that all players observe good golf etiquette and obey the rules set forth for play.
· Refer escalated problems/complaints to Head Golf Professional.
· Follow procedures in maintaining the golf car fleet.
· Responsible for maintenance of order and continuity of player traffic by collecting player start / turn / and finish times.
· Recover balls on golf range daily through use of mechanical and hand machinery or equipment. Clean and maintain range balls to facilitate future use.
· Maintain, clean, organize and collect all range baskets used for ball transportation according to policies and procedures established by management.
· Keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean.
· Set up for proper opening and prepare closing.
· Track and report the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of given area.
CART STAFF DUTIES:
· Stage golf cart area and assure that guests do not load or unload golf bags from carts unless directed by guest.
· Coordinate with golf shop counter and Head Golf Professional to assure efficient transition for golfer to the course.
· Review and assist guests in course and safety rules and regulations to prevent inconveniences to themselves other guests.
· Inspect and assure maintenance of golf carts with attention to their cleanliness, supplies and appearance.
· Arrange players in proper starting order, maintain order on the course, assure tee off time on the proper course and at the proper tee, coordinating with golf shop and ranger as to the status of the first tee.
· Double-check, collect, organize and submit all records of play.
· Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, with continual emphasis on tee and starter/golf shop area; sweep, dust, clean and remove trash where needed.
· Keep course clean and call attention to golf shop of any maintenance issues needing addressing.
· Monitor all play on the course via use of ranger car with special attention to the area of pace play and assist players where necessary

Pay: $12.00 per hour
