Carrier Support Specialist

Responsible for the billing processing, auditing, and monitoring of third-party loads. Ensures all loads are updated systematically and reconcile billing to ensure accuracy and proper payment. Will work with management an AP to ensure all aging and accruals are up to date.

Performance Team and Damco Distribution, now part of the Maersk global organization under a combined Warehousing & Distribution division, offer third party logistics services to over 500 customers. Encompassing almost 15 million square feet of warehousing capacity throughout the country and a large transportation segment capturing a variety of services, we have key supply chain hubs in the Los Angeles and New Jersey/New York areas, and other facilities along the Western & Eastern coasts along with multiple locations in the Midwest. Delivering significant sales and profitability growth, we will drive the Inland Logistics and Services business for the combined US business units for Maersk.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices in Trinium as required
• Assist with outsourcing loads to carriers as needed or directed by manager.
• Update and audit all records in Trinium to reflect correct carrier.
• Process invoices in Trinium as required
• Work closely with A/P team to ensure all approved payments are sent out in a timely manner
• Respond to internal and external customer or carrier requests and questions.
• Keep accurate records of carrier information and payments sent.
• Provide high quality service and support to carriers and team members; respond to request and inquiries with urgency
• Navigate Dray department proprietary software to manage daily operations and records.
• Create proforma and or accessorial to capture additional revenue.
• Performs other job-related duties as specified by management

We are looking for

• 2nd shift
• 1-2 year of experience in Intermodal/Dray industry
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong candidates are assertive, adaptable and resilient
• Must be a self-starter
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player attitude
• Proficient with systems (i.e.: Microsoft products; warehouse management systems, etc)
• Flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends
