Carpenter

Bollinger Shipyards is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join its team.

• Able to read and interpret standard construction drawings, specifications, and other technical publications.
• Good working knowledge of shipboard joiner and insulation systems.
• Can fabricate and install furniture, cabinets, consoles, and other outfit and furnishing items without supervisory guidance.
• Familiar with all aspects of craft-specific marine outfitting activities, from design through final shipboard installation.
• Versed in applicable commercial and military specifications and standards.
• Must be able to work in confined/enclosed spaces.
• Must be able to work/climb in elevations greater than 5’.
• Must be able to wear/work a respirator when applicable.
• Minimum 3 months carpentry experience
