Carpenter

We are looking to hire commercial journeyman carpenters with commercial experience. This position will be working on commercial projects located in the Kansas City area. The pay range here is $18-24 per hour based on experience. Most of our field employees are getting 45 to 50 hours per week. All applicants must have their own personal vehicle, and be ready to work hard outside for 40+ hours a week. Company paid health benefits and pay will be weekly for employee convenience and there is no one week delay!

• All hand tools required to perform job

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard.

• Framing

• Carpenters: Install metal and wood framing and roof truss components, reading and understanding blueprints and schematics, using hand and electric tools to cut and fabricate and install framework components

• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures.

• Shape and cut materials to specific measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.

• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks and props, using hand tools.

• Be able to provide previous carpentry experience and verifiable references.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience performing the above tasks.

• Be at least 18 years of age.

• This job requires regular standing, bending and kneeling and lifting of up to 50 lbs without assistance.
