Carpenter Foreman/ Superintendent - Overview

Northfield Construction Company (NCC) is a growing commercial and residential general contractor based in Northfield, MN since 1972. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing rough and finish carpentry, operating various machines, frequently loading and unloading heavy materials, and following direction from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen. To do well in this role you should be reliable, a hard worker, and enjoy working with a team to provide quality work.

Carpenter Foreman/ Superintendent - Location: Northfield, MN

Carpenter Foreman/ Superintendent - Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from start to finish
• Oversee, direct, and assist onsite crew
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, and subcontractors
• Maintain job schedule
• Maintain production levels
• Be able to work with clients
• Frame walls, roofs, floors and all types of general wood and metal framing
• Install doors, windows, and hardware
• Install all types of siding, trim, fascia, soffit, etc.
• Install finish trims, casings, base, etc.
• Drive and operate company vehicles and equipment
• Work on roofs of all types

• Obey and maintain all safety and company regulations

Carpenter Foreman/ Superintendent - Requirements

• Ability to do physical labor
• Carpentry experience - 5-8 years
• Experience managing a crew
• Regularly lift #50 to #75 and occasionally lift #100 and #125
• Ability to work in all weather
• Have transportation to jobsite
• Workers must be punctual and reliable
• General safety knowledge
• Ability to effectively use construction tools
• Hold valid driver’s license

Carpenter Foreman/ Superintendent - Compensation
Compensation based on experience level.
