Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), CH-47 Program, has an immediate need for a Cargo & Utility Mission Systems/Electronic Flight Controls Engineer Technician (Level 2), in Ridley Park, PA. The Cargo & Utility Mission Systems/Electronic Flight Controls team has an opportunity to join our team! The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of domestic and international programs performing a wide variety of tasks.
The selected candidate will partner with Mission Systems/Electronic Flight Controls engineers to:
Develop and release documents, drawings, and other engineering documents.
Perform repairs on selected Mission Systems equipment.
Document and refine existing processes.
Support and execute the change request process when needed.
Coordinate the shipment of lab assets and equipment.
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintains releases and assists in developing electrical/mechanical drawings, systems designs or engineering documentation and data, by applying Company, industry and governmental standards.
Using design tools, prepares documentation and incorporates basic design changes.
Creates, develops and maintains elementary systems designs.
Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities.
Supports the development and maintenance of moderately-complex product installation designs and part designs.
Supports coordination with internal partners and external suppliers.
Works under general supervision.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Knowledge of engineering processes
Knowledge of continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Drawing/document release experience
Mission Systems/Avionics experience
CH-47 experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
