You Will Be Responsible For:

• Communicates appropriately and professionally with front line staff, physicians, patients, and visitors. Maintains a professional relationship with all customers and co-workers; maintains the confidentiality of patients, administration, employees, and medical staff information with no infractions. Communicates effectively and frequently with team members to share information and solve problems in a positive manner.
• Responsible for the human resource management in assigned areas to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. Demonstrates and solicits support of hospital and department policies to achieve employee compliance.
• Resolve employee issues, provide support and guidance throughout their day-to-day activities.
• Encourage growth of employees by mentoring, teaching and support.
• Implements necessary training program for all staff and assistant managers in order to increase the operations of the department.
• Maintains records of training performed by all staff (competency grids) and ensures compliance with all hospital educational requirements. Has the ability to teach, guide, and direct personnel.
• Assists personnel to include interviewing, work allocation. Orientation and training, staff development, assists with problem resolution, evaluating performance, making recommendations for personnel actions, and motivating employees to achieve peak performance.
• Ensure appropriate daily and on-call staffing, managing labor expenses in accordance with department budget.

What You Will Need:

• Successful completion of Nursing, Cardiac Sonographer, Respiratory Therapy, or other relevant technical program
• Five years’ experience in adult echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography and stress echocardiography
• Exercise and stress testing experience

• BLS
• Associated licensure or credentialing per relevant degree program:

Registered Nurse by the National Council Licensure Examination or

Registered Cardiac Sonographer by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

• Diagnostic Sonographer Credentialing Accepted from:

American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)

Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

or

Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager Non-Invasive Cardiology is responsible for directing, supervising, and assisting with the delivery of patient care and all related staff activities within the assigned areas according to the policies, philosophy, and mission of the cardiology service line and AdventHealth. Responsible for efficient management of workflow process. Maintains working relationships with medical staff, ancillary departments and nursing units. Actively involved with strategic planning and implementation of performance improvement projects. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
