Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Mercy Medical Center. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing exceptional treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
The ideal candidate will display a drive to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, advocacy and education for the patient and families, and collaboration with all those who touch our patients. This critical role Performs various duties related to patient assistance, patient transportation and the cleaning of the operating rooms and general surgical area.

You Will Be Responsible For:
Exceptional Patient Care: Provides advanced ECG monitoring for patients in need of cardiac monitoring through assessment of ECG strips and arrhythmia interpretation.
Excellent Communicator: Possesses troubleshooting skills to recognize the problems, identify probable causes, and seeks solutions to correct the problem.
Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
Technical Familiarity: Identifies and responds to life threatening rhythm changes, initiates codes, records rhythms during codes, and performs continuous EKG monitoring with accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias and interval measurements.
Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification: CPR required at time of hire.
Basic computer skills required.
Effective communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of Cardiac monitoring experience preferred.
Certification: Telemetry Certification preferred or successfully passes the Mercy Cardiac Rhythm. CPR required within 60 days of hire.
