Originally a 90-bed hospital, we have grown to a 223 bed acute care facility offering quality, compassionate care with state-of-the-art services. Our services include inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services. What you will do in this role:

• Assists physicians with procedures, as necessary (i.e., right and left Heart Cath, temporary and permanent Pacemakers, Aortagrams, Cardioversions, Vena Cava Filter Placement, Pericardiocentesis, and Intra-aortic Balloon Placement, Peripheral Angioplasty, Peripheral Stent Placement, Intra-arterial/Venous Infusion Therapy).
• Responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for Cardiovascular Care and managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment
• Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care. Will participate in peer review and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Assumes responsibility of charging department, as needed. Maintains clear and respectful communication with patient, family, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned patients.

Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiological Technology
• 
  License by the Texas Department of Health & ARRT
• 
  One (1) year prior clinical experience required.
• 
  American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• 
  American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
