POSITION SUMMARY

Maintains Casefinding to ensure all oncology patients are entered in the Suspense database. Obtains follow up on all oncology patients to obtain quality of life and survival data. Abstracting cancer cases per CoC and State standards/guidelines, as well as AJCC staging and SEER Summary guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be a CTR (Certified Tumor Registrar) with a minimum of 2 years abstracting experience in a COC accredited facility

2. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, health information and basic computer skills.

3. Knowledge of Microsoft word and excel and the ability to analyze and export data for reports and studies. Remote is a possibility, further discussion at time of interview.
