Provide project management leadership including coordinating and completing follow-up and due diligence requests from prospective investors and current clients. Primary objectives include:
- Providing timely analysis and preparation of materials for investors.
- Working within various teams across the Campbell Global organization.
- Providing outstanding client service.
- Assist in identifying and developing strategic relationships with prospective clients.
- Lead and work collaboratively with internal teams to provide excellent and timely responses to all RFI/RFP requests, prospective investment follow-up queries and from time-to-time client inquiries
- Partner with internal teams and external support to create persuasive sales documents such as proposals and presentations.
- Apply critical thinking in completing requests for information, proposals and questionnaires.
- Create and maintain Campbell Global marketing materials, including review of and editing of marketing materials prior to distribution to prospective and/or current clients.
- Ensure proper review and sign-off, including compliance, prior to disseminating proposals, presentations and follow-up materials.
- Perform and coordinate financial analysis on an as-needed basis.
- Maintain working knowledge of the forestry asset class, capital markets, carbon markets and forest management operations.
- Familiarization with the basic business structure of Campbell Global.
- Assist in launching new products.
- Research and identify appropriate content to support strategic solution activities. Collaborate with the internal research team on thought leadership and industry trends.
- Participate within the organization to ensure all timberland investment management services meet or exceed client commitments.
- Assume accountability for quality control of all deliverables.
- Lead staff with a player-coach management style, actively participating in the development of direct reports.
- Represent CG at all levels of internal and external interface, maintaining positive public relations.
- Assist in determining potential web-site improvements to enhance the Firm's profile and exposure to prospective clients.
- Assist in other projects related to strategic solutions requests.
- Bachelor's degree from relevant field.
- Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Must have strong work ethic, be trustworthy and accountable.
- Must have excellent organizational, problem-solving skills.
- Must have experience working directly with data (effectively navigate spreadsheets and/or other data related software, and functions that manipulate data.)
- Must be a team player and work well in a collegial setting.
- Minimum of five years previous work experience in the institutional investment industry or have minimum five years previous industry related experience.
- Strong knowledge of investment analysis principles and concept; proficient understanding of finance required.
- Excellent writing abilities-skilled at writing clean, sales-driven marketing copy in a variety of voices, while equally skilled at editing.
- Excellent project management skills, with ability to multi-task while still maintaining quality of work and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, solid judgment and decisiveness.
