Call Center Representative - Topeka, KS

Gainwell is hiring Customer Service Representatives to provide professional, high-quality customer service. We’re interested in people with a background in call center, a busy medical office or phone support within a fast-paced office environment. More importantly, we’re interested in people who want to help other people and are dedicated to their job and their clients. When you work with us as a Customer Service Representative, you will listen to, talk with and problem solve issues for providers or members. You will be supporting Medicaid inquires and will be provided with in-depth training. Excellent opportunity to gain or enhance your healthcare knowledge!

Position Overview

  • Responds to in-bound customer calls (typically 60 per day).
  • Documents call history with results of the inquiry; initiates required confirmation without direct supervision. Researches customer inquiries and responds in a timely manner.
  • Processes calls in a manner that ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceeded.
  • Records calls, processes requests and updates account history with results of and includes proper documentation.
  • Performs data entry and matches documents to appropriate accounts to ensure up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Interfaces with team members, management, and customers.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Two or more years of customer service with heavy phone experience
  • Proficient computer skills with MS-Office and working with multiple databases in a Windows environment. Knowledge of CRM highly desired – Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
  • Skilled in the use of help desk software preferred
  • Medical knowledge or healthcare background a plus

Work Environment

  • Our location is in Topeka, Kansas; initially work is remote and then will return to on-site
  • First shift with start times between 7:30 am and 8:30 am (Monday - Friday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
