Summary of Duties:
The CAHNRS Finance and Administration Fiscal Analyst supports CAHNRS Finance and Administration in providing specialized fiscal support for the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences. The CAHNRS Finance and Administration Fiscal Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of professional financial reviews and analysis of fiscal, contract, and budget data including, preparing annual budget projections and sources of funds for expenses; developing and monitoring budgets; reviewing actual expenses monthly and coordinating communication to the CAHNRS Finance Team regarding balances and funding issues.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, which must include 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting and one year of relevant professional experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill proficiency of financial, administrative systems, or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel Word, PowerPoint), AIS applications, Budget Planning System, and Business Objects. Preferred advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Sound knowledge of WSU Business Policies and Procedures.
