The Cage Cashier performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include logging and maintaining Title 31 compliance accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction, accurately posting and balancing funds. Will work the front line, main bank, and team member bank as needed.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain a high quality of guest service.
- Check for proper identification of a guest appearing to be under the age of 35 years old.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future.
- Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with all guest’s and fellow team members.
- Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.
- Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts and arriving on time for all scheduled shifts.
- Other duties as assigned.
General Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Assists with guest transactions at the Casino Cage window (i.e. cashing checks, accepting casino chips, processing credit applications, etc).
- May be assigned to the Casino Cage for a shift, with activities and responsibilities for active markers, chips, and monetary equivalents and balancing of all at the end of a shift.
- Posts marker issues such as: payments to marker envelope, IOU’s, and Hold Checks log. Processes fill and credit transactions.
- Assists guests with Casino credit card applications.
- Answers inquiries from the Table Games Department concerning current credit lines or usage of credit for guests wagering in the Table Games Area.
- Maintains Casino credit records.
- Counts chips and monies collected and balance all checks, markers, chips, cash and monetary equivalents at the end of each shift for his or her window when assigned to this area.
- Prepares and issues various banks.
Skills, Education & Other Requirements
- At least one year of previous Cage Cashier experience is preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
