Our Current Need:
We are seeking a Control Systems CAD Operator with 2 to 5 years of experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) within the automation industry. You will be working at Thermo Systems’ Eagle Mountain, UT location.
What You’ll Do:
This detail-oriented position will be an integral part of our project implementation team, responsible for assisting the project team in the automation design of PLC-based control systems.
Requirements:
Qualified Candidates shall exhibit one or more of the following attributes:
- Proof of Covid vaccination is required at time of hire.
- Proficiency with the use of AutoCAD software package as it relates to electrical and control panel design.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of CAD control system drawing packages for engineering projects under the direction of lead design engineers.
- Proficiency in basic control system panel wiring and design with guidance from others.
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical system design, as it relates to control system design drawing packages.
- Some working experience with instrumentation, technical specifications, and wiring details is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Information Technology (IT) system, network infrastructure, and computer system design, as it relates to control system integration.
- The ability to work independently as well as on a project team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Office tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
