The responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the Foreman, which will include installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and able to follow instructions. To be successful, you should demonstrate good time management and customer service skills. Outstanding candidates are highly analytical, observant, and have sound knowledge of safety protocols.

Electrician Journeyman/Apprentice:

  • Journeyman must have 4-5 years, Apprentice 2-3 years, Field Technicians 1 year, of commercial and industrial electrical experience
  • Have access to a vehicle with a valid driver’s license
  • Experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
  • Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties
  • Install and bend EMT/Rigid conduit, use hand and power tools, some experience reading blue prints and able to reference some code
  • Be a team player and work as directed by lead team members in a safe and efficient manor
  • Setup, clean up, and maintain good housekeeping on job sites and places of work
  • Some labor intensive work such as trenching, demo and lifting and installing panels, light fixtures, etc.
  • Interact with customers, good communication skills, clean cut, personable, and punctual
  • Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults
  • Traveling to various public and private spaces to assist the master electrician
  • Interpreting blueprints and schematics
  • Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed
  • Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties
  • Working irregular hours and overtime when required
  • Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times
  • Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members
  • Able to lift min 50lbs, climb ladders, operate a scissor lift and or boom lift
  • Basic electrician hand tools, PPE, and power tools.

Job Type: Part-time and Full-time available

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule:

  • Monday to Sunday
  • Overtime
  • Must be willing to travel up to 100%
