Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, purchases routine materials, supplies and equipment from approved vendors. Conducts analysis of quality, cost, service, specifications and other factors in order to recommend vendor selection. Maintains regular contact with vendors, sales representatives and company department heads in order to identify purchasing needs and sources. Order processing requires proficiency with information systems including materiel management information systems, email, desktop applications and internet browsers.

• High school graduation or equivalent
• Three years of related experience
