Buying & Procurement Specialist

Join a winning team! Immediate opening for experienced Procurement Specialist to support established manufacturing company in east Allentown. Primary responsibilities entail Vendor Relationship Management, raising Purchase Orders, verifying Goods Receipt, working with inside sales and production to support inventory and quotation requirements, performance of weekly stocking count of component materials. Additional responsibilities include administration of company fleet reporting requirements. Role will interact directly with company senior sales and production management.

Job-specific training will be provided in use of company ERP, processes and procedures. Qualified candidates should have demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications, especially Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel and be comfortable using ERP systems to raise Purchase Orders and to Receive shipments. Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
