Job Description

Dignari, LLC is seeking a Business Transformation Specialist - SME to join our expanding business. The role will provide strategic planning and business analysis support and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organization skills. This position is located on-site with our client in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
Responsibilities:

  • Works in a collaborative environment with multiple project teams, including with Federal staff and contractors, to support the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and related government agencies.
  • Advises senior government leaders on major areas of client needs with the aim of helping clients and their respective programs succeed.
  • Advances client missions by identifying opportunities for business transformation, conducting capability gap analyses, defining operational requirements, developing high-impact solutions and business practices, formulating sound business plans, shaping acquisition and funding strategies, and managing project teams from concept to delivery.
  • Possesses subject matter expertise in multiple domains of business and technology, with substantial breadth and depth, to provide high-value support to clients.
  • Demonstrates prior experience in managing high-caliber and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates the capacity and track-record to lead multiple project teams, and serve as a reliable coordinator across Federal and contractor teams.
  • Produces high-quality deliverables as per client needs, including strategic analyses, technical analyses, financial analyses, operating procedures, business plans, reports, and presentations.
  • Conducts high-level workshops and training programs as per client needs.
  • Supports recruitment, coaching, and mentoring of new and existing staff.
  • Master’s degree in business administration or engineering.
  • 15 or more years of relevant professional work experience, preferably in working with government and industry leaders.
  • Subject matter expertise, demonstrating significant breadth and depth in multiple domains of work, in areas such as business transformation, emerging technologies, innovation, travel, trade, electronic commerce, biometrics, capability gap analysis, requirements, acquisitions, procurement, finance, data analytics, program evaluation, and results measurement.
  • Managerial experience in supervising cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Excellent communications skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation.
  • Well-organized with a track-record of producing high-quality deliverables on time.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
