Business Operations Intern

Talentnook is a growing early-stage Edtech startup based out of the SF Bay Area. We are looking for a student intern for our user onboarding team. Projects will include screening and onboarding potential teachers/tutors, help them learn about Talentnook, and build amazing profiles on the Talentnook website. You should be professional, confident, friendly, and comfortable with communication on phone, text, video call, and email.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Market Talentnook features and values to potential teachers, tutors, and instructors
• Screen and assist tutors with the onboarding process
• Guide tutors to build an attractive and engaging profile on the Talentnook website.
• Help tutors come up with content to showcase their expertise.
• Help tutors build a competitive profile.
• Community outreach spreading the word about Talentnook
• Assist with other projects as requested

Qualifications and Requirements:

• College student, preferably pursuing marketing, sales, or communications major
• Resourcefulness and a go-getter
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work at least 10 hours per week

We work remotely and collaborate frequently through Google Workspace. The ideal candidate is reliable, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and work in a startup environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Customer service
• Content writing
• Social media and digital platforms such as FB, IG, Twitter, Nextdoor, LinkedIn
• Comfortable with marketing and pitching about Talentnook

Compensation, benefits & perks: The Valuable experience of working directly with a founding team in a fast-paced learning environment. Potential to grow with the company and develop into a paid position. Documentation can be provided if college credits are allowed for internships by your school.
