Job Expectations:

Job Summary
The Data Analyst will participate and be involved in all aspects of data-related initiatives and issues for Bank Ops Support. Analyst utilizes data mining, report design, and data analysis that help the business units make decisions with strategy development and daily management. The position has participation in the day-to-day management of business intelligence tools (Various Access Databases, Integrated Excel Workbooks, Budgeting software, and Business Objects) including report development, training and support. Through these systems this position provides key indicator reporting, internal control and operational analysis, financial, and project support to various groups within Bank Operations.

Essential Functions
  • Data mining, report design, and data analysis in order to build, maintain and
enhance reports used for daily management and strategy development
  • Day-to-day management of business intelligence tools (Various Access
Databases, Integrated Excel Workbooks, Budgeting software, and Business
Objects) including report development, training and support
  • Provide business insight and recommendations based on analysis and
reporting to drive competitive advantage
  • Communicate and update leadership on related reporting and projects
proactively
  • Deliver reporting on schedule and ad-hoc as required, including reports
related to budget and daily, weekly and monthly operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Technology/data administration and project management experience
  • Experience working with budget software, trend analysis methodologies, data
manipulation, preferably within banking accounting/operations
  • General understanding of database structure and ability to learn basic query
writing
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the
ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and
interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic
outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core
Values
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and intermediate level
proficiency with all other Microsoft Office applications.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, finance, or data analytics or
equivalent work experience or equivalent combination of education and
experience required
  • 2+ years in similar role in financial industry
